Ditty Bag

I made a ditty bag for my son-in-law that I think he's going to really like.

Spent a week with my youngest daughter and we tested a few ByAnnie Patterns. It was a good time and we made some cute things :) 

A Room With A View

 I just love this pattern and plan to make many more for my storage cubes and shelves around the house. It is nice to be able to see what's in the boxes and of course to be able to customize the fabric boxes to match their intended purpose and locations. This is a ByAnnie pattern titled A Room with a View.

ByAnnie Easy Does It Bag

This is my first attempt at an Easy Does It bag using the free pattern provided ByAnnie. Though not perfect (nothing I make is ever perfect lol), I am extremely proud of it. I learned several new techniques and with practice I know these will turn into several new items I'll be able to make in future. I think I'll be making more of this particular bag as well as it seems useful and like it will work as a great gift.

Piece Keeper By Annie

 

I made a little "PieceKeeper" from a ByAnnie pattern to include with the Bingo Tote. A little extra tag along storage for a very special lady.

Bingo Tote Bag

 

I made this tote for a very special lady that enjoys Bingo. The tote includes 8 specific outer pockets for bingo daubers and two "double wide" pockets in the outer centers as well as two elastic pockets on the outer sides. The inside of the tote includes two wide patch pockets on both the front and back as well as a patch pocket on one side and one holder band for drinks etc on the other side. That's 15 pockets and one band. The bag measures 14 inches wide, 11 inches tall, and 3 inches deep. I roughly followed the YouTube tutorial provided by Debbie Shore.

Velvet Pouch

 

This velvet drawstring pouch is lined and has a round bottom which enables it to stand on its own. I made it for a man that will be dressed as a Knight this Halloween and as part of his costume he has a couple small pouches. One for his many gold coins. One for his gems. And now this larger velvet one to hold his very special dragon eggs! All of the fabric is scraps I've acquired from thrift stores...even the jeweled beads on the drawstrings. The pouch measures 7 inches high and 3 inches wide.

Bookshelf Block - Butcher Knife with Cookbooks

 

Stabby stabby. I'm not too good at cooking or following recipes even though I've taken a few cooking classes. Nevertheless, my family is full of great cooks and my bookshelves have plenty of cookbooks. So I'll be adding this block to the mix as I continue to build blocks for my bookshelf quilt. Pattern may be found at Fandom in Stitches.

Fabric Tissue Box

A little tissue box for some reusable tissues :) I make the tissues from scraps and the box is small enough to also turn into a scrappy project. I think I'll be making more boxes :)
